Gordon applies deep expertise in sales, presales, and talent & team development to help companies win at complex market opportunities and execute their growth strategies.
His tenure as Senior Director, Presales and Global Alliances at Dell Technologies showcased his ability to build and lead high-performing teams, drive revenue growth, and foster strategic partnerships with global enterprises. Under his leadership, solution architects delivered cutting-edge Data Center solutions ensuring enterprises safeguarded their most critical digital assets. His ability to cultivate trust and inspire teams has been a defining element of his career.
Before joining Dell Technologies, Gordon made a significant impact at Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Manager in Technology Risk. In this role, he spearheaded initiatives to enhance the reliability and resilience of core banking systems while addressing operational risks across the Asia region. He played a pivotal role in service improvement programs, ensuring banking technology outages were mitigated, documented, and measured to meet rigorous regulatory compliance standards set by MAS (Singapore) and HKMA (Hong Kong). His expertise in technology risk management and financial sector regulations positioned him as a trusted leader in navigating political and operational challenges.
Earlier in his career, Gordon refined his leadership and strategic consulting skills as an Engagement Manager for Strategic Consultants Ltd. His work involved managing large-scale technology transformation projects across the Asia Pacific region, including a high-profile business continuity plan for ABN AMRO’s Global Markets and a major data center relocation for Chase Manhattan Bank. His deep experience in enterprise risk and crisis management helped regional banks and financial institutions fortify their infrastructure against potential disruptions, reinforcing his reputation as a trusted advisor in the industry.
His journey began with IBM Consulting Services in Hong Kong and China, where he developed critical risk mitigation strategies for banking, insurance, and transportation sectors. With a laser focus on customer success, Gordon led technology risk engagements that delivered tangible business results, laying the foundation for a career defined by innovation, resilience, and strategic foresight. His early experiences at IBM shaped his ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable business solutions.

Marco Leung is a Market Intelligence Associate at Altus Advisors, supporting the firm’s research, policy analysis, and strategic advisory work with a regional focus on Asia-Pacific. Drawing on his academic training in Human Geography at the University of Toronto, Marco brings a spatial, political, and cultural perspective to understanding the market forces shaping cities, industries, and international relationships across East and Southeast Asia.
At Altus, Marco contributes to a wide range of client-facing deliverables, including regional market briefings, risk assessments, stakeholder landscape mapping, and long-form thematic reports. His work is particularly focused on helping clients anticipate and adapt to fast-evolving trends in urbanization, infrastructure development, governance, and cross-border policy. He is skilled in synthesizing academic research, public data, and local knowledge to produce actionable insights for investors, development agencies, and public-sector clients.
Before joining Altus Advisors, Marco served as a Research Consultant at the Asia Pacific Research Group, where he worked on projects related to geopolitical strategy, foreign direct investment, and socio-environmental planning. He has also worked with educational and cultural institutions in Hong Kong, including Edit Academy and Benchen-Phuntsok-Ling, where he supported instructional design and community engagement programs. These experiences have sharpened his ability to communicate across audiences and connect broad analytical frameworks to real-world applications.
Marco is fluent in English and Cantonese and conversant in Mandarin. His multicultural background and international experience enable him to navigate diverse regional contexts with cultural fluency and professional sensitivity. Academically, he is pursuing a specialist degree in Human Geography, with a focus on spatial justice, urban politics, and the political economy of development.
